In our wellness hotel in Tiers am Rosengarten, we have not only furnished a Finnish sauna, but also a steam bath, an infrared cabin, a multifunctional shower and a relaxation room with resting places.
The difference between a steam bath and the sauna is the climate: while the temperatures in the Finnish sauna are between 70 and 80 degrees Celsius and a dry heat prevails, the steam bath is characterized by a high humidity at about 50 degrees Celsius.
Sweating is generally healthy, only your personal taste influences your choice. Three sessions between eight and twelve minutes are recommended in both the Finnish sauna and the steam bath. In between, you should take a bath and rest, and here of course you have the opportunity to do it. In the resting area there is also quiet music for relaxing. In addition, free of charge fresh well water is at your disposal.

In the cold season, the Finnish sauna and the steam bath are perfect to warm up after a day in the fresh air. In the summer, however, we would like to introduce you to the infrared cabin. This cabin is a great alternative to the sauna. Here, your body is not heated by hot room air like the Finnish sauna, but over infrared radiation.
